Question 74 nova brake question

Hi all. I have a 74 nova that i just recently put on the road after a 6 year stint in my driveway. The problem I have is in the brake system. The car runs great and goes like hell but it don't stop for Sh**. I have 4 wheel MANUAL drum brakes and was wondering if the addition of a power brake booster and m/c would solve the problem. I don't want to add disc brakes just the power booster. I was wondering if any one knows if this is possible and if so where I could get directions or tips for doing so. Thanks in advance.

Re: 74 nova brake question

I have a 69 Nova w/4 drum brakes and no power booster and my car stops just fine but you could get a power booster off jegs or ebay.
