Drivers side door light

The light on the drivers side door of my 94 accord EX wont work. When I went to put in a bulb (Been a long time since it's had one) the bulb didn't work. The cover over the light has also been missing for about a year now (FYI). Any help on whether this is a fuse/line/power problem would be helpful. All the other door lights work.

Check the door switch. Sometimes it sticks in the off position

Where is the switch on the door?

The switch is on the vertical post to the rear of the door.
