2001 Eclipse Infinity radio

I have a 2001 Eclipse with Infinity Sound System. The head unit is a radio with single CD player. Anyone know who makes the head unit and how to remove it? Does this also have a seperate amp, and where is it located?

you really should try searching other threads before asking a question like that. it's been answered many times. anyways, you can remove it by taking off the front trim piece from around it. if you have an external amp it will be under the pass. seat. it's made by infinity.

if im not mistaken, it says "INFINITY" on the front of CD player. i dont get whats was so hard about that.

I'm well aware that it says Infinity on the faceplate. I know Infinity makes amps & speakers, but I cannot find anywhere that states that they make head units, so I thought maybe someone else made the unit, they put the Infinity name on it and call it an Infinity sound system. Unless Infinity only makes and sells the head units to car manufacturers! If you know of someone, besides Ebay or car manufacturers, that sell the head units, please let me know.
