saftey issue
when i tried to turn on my emergency flashers yesterday, i couldn't get the buton to push down, i am wondering if it could be the button itself (most likely) or could there be something obstructing it. I have a 2000 s-10. (or should i just get rear-ended and get a brand new truck????)

Re: saftey issue
the last one... just kidding.
Since we all hopefully rarely use our 4 way flashers the switches start to stick. Try squirting some electrical contact cleaner in there, and see if that helps I would also recommend rubbing a light coat of vegi oil around the moving parts with a Q-tip... that tip has saved me several hours of re&re parts that were just slicking a little |

Re: saftey issue
on the subject of emergency flashers, i think im a dumb ass for asking this one but im gonna do it anyways... on my 93 s-10 how do i get the flashers to work? theres the round switch thing but im so nervous with my truck because it seems to fragile. i pulled on it because thats how i thought it worked but nothing happened. if no one responds i understand because it is probably just the dumbest question anyone has ever posted.

Re: saftey issue
If it's like my 85 bush the button in the middle in to turn them on, and then pull the outer ring down to turn them off. Your just testing us aren't you?
