A big box from Japan...

Arrived for me today

I am now the proud owner of my first 4 kits. I got 2 R33 GTRs, an R34 GTR and a Supra. Not sure which I'll build first, but I think I'll leave the R34 until I'm a bit more familiar with the car kits.

Just need to go and find some materials in town now, I'm still looking for Tamiya paints.

My preferred order would be:
1) R33 (you have two of them)
2) R34 (everyone here has built one so they can help you)
3) R33 (second)
4) Supra (which is it?, Mk IV is my favorite!)

It's the errr.... not sure actually But it's the '93 model. They're all Tamiya kits, by the way.

Also, what defines Tamiya primer as primer, I have some old matt sprays from my aircraft days, would these be OK to use as primer?

Right, I've decided to go for an R33 first, I've just built the front of the chassis and have sprayed the interior in black, I will be brush painting the detail on, I think.

Looks like rain coming towards me though, so I don't think I'll get to spray the underside of the car today.

I've not decided on a colour for the shell, mainly because I'm stil unsure as to if I can get hold of Tamiya sprays. I'l ring my local modelshop in a minute and see if they can order me some.
