Smaller pulley for SSEi

Where would be a good place to get a smaller pulley for the supercharger on my Bonneville? I emailed Kenne Bell and checked with all of the Pontiac and Chevy dealerships here as well as the Procharger headquarters and nobody can help me. My friend did it to his 2003 Cobra and said it was really great but with my car I may nead to do some work on the engine before I get a new pulley because the engine may not be able to handle the extra boost and power.

Re: Smaller pulley for SSEi

Check ZZperformance, they have a large number of bolt on performance parts that should work on your Bonnie. Unless you have an extermely high mileage 3.8 the engine should be able to handle the change in boost. Just don't go too small on the pulley.

Here are some different sites to get a pulley and you will also need a special puller that is only made to remove the pulley on the Eaton supercharger.DO NOT TRY AND USE ANY OTHER PULLER or you can damage the nose drive.

A safe to pulley to go with is a 3.4,anything smaller then that you would need more supporting mods to be able to handel the added boost.

Press on Pulley click here
Quick Change pulley system Click Here

Other sites are

www.3800performance.com
www.intense-racing.com

For a good price on a puller

Hope this helps!
