setting amount of boost

okay im about to purchase a turbo and i was wondering when i get it and install it what is the manufactures set boost level? or if it is up to me to set it how can i do that? i will be running stock internals for a lil bit so a max of about 6-7 psi is all i will use.

Re: setting amount of boost

should be runnin 6-7.5psi when you get it. once you get a boost controller you can change that.

when you can get some forged pistons from Wiseco, JE, or Arwais or whatever it is. looks or sounds like that, i'm getting JE. best compression would be 9.5:1
