Smile timing belt

I have a "99 Avenger that has about 76,000 miles on it i know that you are supposed to have the timing belt replaced every 60,000 miles i have not had this done yet, and i have a friend who also drives an avenger and his engine blew because of his timing belt. so basically, i want to know how long i can drive before my belt goes!

Re: timing belt

if you go over 100,000 miles, you're putting a lot of stress on that belt.
