Van hesitating

I'm still having the same problem. The problem is: I have a 1990 Plymouth Voyeger with 3.3 engine. As I cruise along the road, my van start to hesitate. As if my fuel filter is plugging up. Then, it resume with power. Immediately aftwards, the van hesitates again. Back and forth as I go down the road. It does not matter if I'm stepping on the gas. I have changed the fuel filter and fuel pump. The problem is still there.

Please help, can't handle this anymore.

I had the same problem.... Changed the spark plugs and air filter... problem is gone

assuming you've tried the high quality dry gas already, and since you've already ruled out the fuel pump and furl filter by changing them, I'd check your voltage output of the alternator while idling for about 15-20 minutes with a heavy load. Se if the voltage drops over time. If it does, that's your issue.

Same problem on a 93 3.0L

It was only happening in the 80-120km/h range.
It only started to happen after I installed a new thermostat (before, the engine was always too cool)

1) Cleaned the sparkplug
2) Changed the spark wires
3) Check the transmission oil level. Was too high. I figured that maybe the high level with the correct temperature was causing the oil to foam and causing the transmission to slip.
4) Changed the fuel filter

The problem is now mostly gone. It only occurs if I drive for a long time (45min) on the highway.
