wanted: 255 pump, hi flow inj, and fpr

k, i'm going to get the tuners package from rippmods and need to get a stronger fuel pump, hi-flow injectors, and a rising pressure fuel pressure regulator. i was hoping someone had some extras to sell or knew of a site that sold them cheap. let me know. thanks.

i woulda thought turbo too, but he already got headers so that is kinda like going back a step to go turbo

Re: wanted: 255 pump, hi flow inj, and fpr

the headers do help me choose the supercharge route. this car is going to be a daily driven car so even though it's not going to be as powerful as a turbo for the $ i'm happy with the slightly safer aspect. the idea of the heat and all the clearance of piping bothers me. guess i'd rather be safe than sorry. that's just my own personal preferance though. if i had the 4 cyl. i'd go with turbo.

Re: Re: wanted: 255 pump, hi flow inj, and fpr

well, i just ordered the pump. i found out that the walbro 255 pump off the 2nd g eclipse has to be used for the 3g's. (part # gss342) i'll have to modify it slightly for it to work but nothing hard. just dremmeling some plastic. only cost me $80 shipped.

found out the fuel pressure regulator style i need is pretty cheap through rippmods. it is a raising rate so it automatically adjusts the fuel pressure up depending on how many pounds of boost your are running at the time. it's only costing me $150 with the gauge.

the injectors i'm going with are rc 310's. mixed ideas on the injectors but for the amount of boost i'll be running they'll be fine. only problem is i'm not sure what modifications i'll need for the injectors. clips? harnesses? spacers? longer mounting bolt for fuel rail? i'm getting the injectors off johhny for $490 as soon as i find out everything i need.

altogether instead of paying like $3.9k for the stage one through ripp. i'm paying $3.2k for the equivalent of it. just need to get it tuned afterwards. nothing major. can't wait til the finished product.
