Metro Running Again

hey guys!! metro is running again. i replace a buttload of parts on it. took it to high school shop and me and some friends worked on it in there. replaced all gaskets, had head cleaned and milled, replaced thermostat, crank seal, oil/filter (head was filled with sludge), timing belt, accessory belt (except belt that runs AC. i left that off so in future i can remove all AC.....for increased horsepower). she runs good now but needs a muffler for sure. i'm going to replace all of the exhaust eventually from manifold to rear. thanks to everyone who helped me get this done!!

Any tips on get the 5 8mm crank pulley bolts out. Every ratchet/socket combo I have is too long or too short or won't fit between the pulley and the fender wall.

try using a deep 1/4 inch socket you should be able to get the bottom bolt out then turn the motor a little and get the next one.Also you could try putting the front end on jack stands and use a floor jack on engine ,take off front motor mount and then slowly let engine down until you can reach them.

Looks like I am resorting to the dropping the motor method in the morning.
