Steering wheel changing

Can I ask if the steering wheels that fit later Civics will fit the earlier Civics? I assume that my steering wheel is the same fitment as Hondas around that time.

Re: Steering wheel changing

Yup, any Civic steering wheel without an air bag will fit. The only difference will be that the steering wheel from a newer Civic will sit closer to the driver and farther from the signal levers. This will be great if you've got short arms and really long fingers!

Re: Steering wheel changing

Thanks, I think I might just try to find a chunkier looking steering wheel.
If the later Civic ones fit I imagine the later Rover ones will fit aswell.
Cheers

Re: Steering wheel changing

Are the later Rovers still based on the Civic platform?

Re: Steering wheel changing

Yeah. The one that replaced mine, not exactly sure how but it is related, the equivalent Honda being called the Concerto. Then the replacement for that was based on the Dominai sedan which was a Japan only model based on the Civic. Honda sold that in Europe as the Civic aswell.
