1994 Prelude new heads

just got an h22 dohc no vtech i wanna do it up with some vtech what do i do throw some new heads on there and mess with the timing?

This doesn't make much sense to me. You have an h22 but no vtec? That can't be possible, since h22's come with vtec by default.

that is very true. h22s come with vtec stock.

and hondas if you didnt know only come with 1 head.

You must be confusing it with an h23 or something, because there should be no reason an h22 would not have vtec.

no soleniod maybe its a h23 it dosent have 4 weel stearing either

You need a new HEAD (one, not two). And it's not just a slap on job, nor is it gauranteed to run well. I'd say your best bet is to just swap to a JDM H22A.

i say heads as in head and yes its a slap on its an almost guarenteed if i do the job how much is a new head?

It is far from a slap on job. If you read AcesHigh's faq (search for it in the Prelude forum, hopefully its still there) on the h23/vtec head swap, you'll notice that you're gonna need a lot more h22 parts than just the head.

As for the cost of the head; I couldn't tell you. Its not often you come by an h22 head, since most people sell the complete swap.

Also in regard to your h22 wishlist, why are you boosting with high comp pistons?
