help me with my 4x4 electronic problem

When i press the 4x4 button, the 4x4 doesnt engage. The previous owner said it might be a relay or something wrong with the electronics down in the transfer case. Any knowledge?
Thanks in Advance....

Re: help me with my 4x4 electrical problem

your auto hubs are broke(most commonly happenes when brakes are replaced, they get forced on big no-no) or your change motor is bad if you take off your frt wheel is their little retatainer clips on your lugnuts or do your hubs just slide off?

Ill check that by taking off the front wheels. Do i have to replace the entire auto lock hubs if the clips are broken? The previous owner said that the motor might be bad also.
thanks

Have you checked the Actuater in the front differential. My brother had the same problems with his truck and that's what it turned out to be. Good Luck.
