auto tranny probs

I have a 97 probe 4cyl auto. For sometime now the o/d light has been flashing once in a while. I was driving down the road the other day and it felt like I ran over something, the car shut off, and there was tranny fluid leaking out. The car now has no gears at all. Is this definite that the entire tranny blew or could there be possibly something else? The car will not start now either. Plllzzzz Help. Thank You.
