Re: help

he has a 89 prelude, read his info. i dont know what else could fit in the engine bay besides what it came with, a B20A5... maybe a B16 or B18. but i'm not too familiar with the 3rd gen preludes. but www.nippon-motors.com does hav a vtec b16, that could fit.

The most common swap is the JDM B20a. Its a direct bolt on. Has about 11 more hp but still limited on aftermarket parts. The H22 would be the monster swap but very costly. I have just recently swapped a JDM B20a into my 88si and am satisfied with it. I will be adding a turbo and calling it good. I will have enough power to suit my needs and I will save money vs. the H22. You can check it out at http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/528935

The best place to find everything. Ebay. They come in white or silver. Silver is hard to come by. silver is rarely listed. And they are only offered for an automatic but will still work in a 5 speed with no modification. I think I payed $40 shipped.

I bought them from an ebay store that is also an online Store. www.procarparts.com you can buy it directly from them if you dont trust ebay. You will spend a few dollars more buying direct
