Re: my LS/VTEC

It all depends on how much you abuse it, just make sure to let everything get broken in before you do abuse it.

Re: my LS/VTEC

Daily Driver..well, does that still mean all motor or boost? I'm assuming if it was a DD, your compression wouldn't be too high, for lack of having to gas up. The set up should last for awhile, just make sure its well maintained and you give it miles to break in. Take care of it and it'll stay strong. Though it's your daily driver, are you implying you ARE concerned with speed or do you want something mild and in the 14s? Just FYI, I have shot peened rods with je pistons..all brand new if you're interested. In the mean time, good luck .

Yes, they are pr4 pressed into 11.5:1 je pistons with total seal rings. Pump gas will work. I used 310cc RC injectors. What year is your car?

Re: my LS/VTEC

Thanks for clarifying that up before I got the chance to. There is NO type R with stock 11.5:1 compression. Now, the s2k's compression is high, but you didn't mention that.

Yes, 11.5:1 is high, speaking in F/I terms. However, 11.5:1 in my eyes is low enough for me to add n2o. Which is why I chose 11.5:1.
