this will help you pick out the right compressor which is the first step in a custom turbo setup. Just do a lot of homework and a lot of reading. Its gonna cost you a good bit anyway so start saving now!

Re: i want to turbo my car

make sure to read www.howstuffworks.com then go to the auto stuff, then turbochargers, and make sure you fully understand what youre getting youreself into.
not only do you have to change youre intake piping for a turbo setup but you need to match the air with added amounts of fuel and a stronger spark.
www.homemadeturbo.com has some good examples, but not really any prices listed.

Re: i want to turbo my car

Listen to me very carefully....

don't

touch

it.

I mean it... I saw a homemade turbo setup in a sol. It was ugly, it was boggy, it was GHETTO. The guys on HMT.com know what they're talking about, and know turbo systems like the back of their hands. You do not. Thus, you should not be even considering building your own until you do TONS of homework about everything from how a turbo works to what the differences in the individual turbos are, to what's available for your engine, to how to optimize and tune a system once it's in.

You have much to learn young one.
