1985 Camaro Question

How do I get the heater core out of this baby? She's overheating and I don't want to bypass the heater core. she has a 350 in her, I hope I already have not hurt it. It looks to me like I'm going to have to take the dash out? Please tell me there is an easier way??? Thanks for any information you can give me.

No, you don't have to take the dash out. Just drop the passenger side under dash kick panel and look around the air box for screws (top and bottom) there is one kind of hidden up in the left upper corner. Remove the air box cover, get the hoses off of the core in the engine compartment, remove the screws retaining the core and remove the core.
The entire job takes just 2 hours.
