Engine needed

My best friend has a 1987 daytona 2.2 turbo 1 , and his reman engine just threw a rod 200 miles past warranty. If anyone has a 2.2 turbo for sale let me know , I would really like to get his baby on the road again for him.

Re: Engine needed

hey, idk where you are, i didnt bother to look, i have a 89 daytona shelby with a rebuilt 88shelby-z tII engine. it needs a little work, like new seals, an oil pump, and that really about it. its very strong, and was reliable until the oilpump thing. im not looking for much moneywise, but i would like to sell the whole car.
im in northern maine, let me know if you would be interested, or make me an offer.
