Re: wheres jimmy hoffa

He was the leader of a crooked union who did not pay off the right people, or stepped on too many toes. Popular opinion appears that he did not pay off the New York Mafia.
You see, in the 60's and 70's, the mob, especially in New York, gained power over certain industries by controlling key points in the supply chain.
For certain industries, such as the garment trade, construction and waste disposal, control of the truck driver's union local provided such leverage.
The union could halt transport of the goods and seize up an industry.
Graft, or a payoff to the mob from the key players in the industry would ensure the trucks kept moving.
For example, most of the cement and concrete supplies used in NYC construction projects had a percentage paid to the mob, to ensure that the truck drivers would do their jobs.
Glass and window suppliers for construction projects also were exploited for payoffs.

Hoffa, of course as the teamsters (truck driver's) union boss was up to his next in this extorsion racket. It could have been the mob or it could have been other union managers who had him removed. IMHO the fact they never found the body means that it was not the mob, but someone who was more personally involved with Hoffa. The mob would kill and leave the bodies to be found as a strong message of intimidation to others.

Nah, that to me makes me think it WAS the mob. The mob usually makes sure the body isnt found, if it was some amature it wouldnt of bin done so professionally.

I'd say more than 75% of the people the mob kills they make sure the body isnt found, no body, no crime. It's MUCH, MUCH safer.

Plus they're experts at disposing bodies, either putting weights on them and dropping them in the ocean, burying the body, putting the body in a barrel and filling it with cement, to what the DeMeo crew did in the Gambino family, they cut the bodies into pieces, put them in small seperate bags and drop them in a safe dump. They did that with 200+ bodies.

End zone of Giants stadium, I've heard. Don't know which end.

Might also have "retired" and be chilling on the beach somewhere.

Of course, he could be in Bob Barker's back yard.....doing either.

Heard about Giants stadium in a book. The author didn't say the endzones but he is on the property outside of the stadium. They also claimed that they would go to a game an joke around with each other about if Jimmy was watching the game or not. They even when into detail about how he died. He was supposed to be meeting someone in a house, he was sitting in the dining room, the hitman burst in from the kitchen and shot Jimmy in the forehead. They said he never knew what hit him. How true this is, I can't tell you but the author claimed to have been there.

I'm pretty sure I remember hearing about a year ago that his body was found. It was found under the floor in a house(it was his house I believe) or it was Charles O'Briens. Searched but couldnt find anything on it.
