what year is your bird and what engine does it have?
there are lots of other mods that you can do first to get lots of power that are cheaper and wont be hard on your engine
if you drive it everyday, dont put nitrous in it or you'll end up buying a new engine every 70K miles...

You can use nitrous on any type of car. Im guessing your car is a V6 so anything over a 50-75 shot would be asking for trouble. And yes you would feel a slight gain in performance when used.

Re: nos on a firebird

Nitrous can be safely used with the other appropiate mods done first. Yes, it is hard on your engine though... My friend does a 11.5 with nitrous and other mods...
