Any thoughts on using a website like carsdirect.com or edmunds to get the best price?

Edmunds and KBB are good places to get invoice price and a lot of info plus put your request out for bid. You enter your zip code and how far away you'll consider bids and the replies will roll in. They will be rated in percentages of your specifications. I ended getting a better than invoice price on a 2005 Yukon from a dealer 50 miles from home.
