ZC distributor
wondering what i have to do to get my car to run right seems as if its having firing problems but not throwing any codes....wondering cause i swap everything from my d16 to my new zc sohc non vtec...do i have to get a diff dizzy to make it run right caseu i think my timing 180 off?

Check to make sure you have the plug wires on the right plugs. Check the firing order.

how it says put it on number 1 cylinder on dizzy oi go plug it in with motor top dead center and it dont go in...if i put it on number 4 on dizzy it slips right in ever had that problem?

are you sure its at top dead center? u might have the motor 180 degrees off and not the dizzy. then check the firing order on the cap and make sure thats right.

is it just me or..but doesnt the dizzy only go on one way? i mean the cam is keyed so that the dizzy only goes in one way. so sounds like timing is off, maybe a tooth or two (check your timing with a timing gun) or your spark plug wires are off, sounds more like timing though.

well my zc poor at take off then it runs like a champ once it gets going is that all lead to timing?...cause right now i have it firing at cylinder 4 start the car
