Manual / Auto differences

Hi all, Can anyone tell me if a 3s-ge engine from an automatic 1989 Celica GT-i 16 will bolt straight into a manual car ? If not whats different about the auto engine to the manual ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Manual / Auto differences

not much, the radiator actually is desegnated to automatic or manual, but will stilll work with no problems, as well as starters are "designated" but will still work (at least they should) youll have to take out the clutch pedal...and get a new master cylendar and probably close the line on the brake booster...ive only done auto to manual swaps, not backwards....why would u go from auto to manual?
