88 Not Starting Fuel Problem
First of all its a 3.1 block with 2.8 parts... I bought the car off a friend who went to the military and it wasnt running at the time cause they swapped the motors and he left before he could finish...
The car will turn over but wont start...the fuel pump is not engaging...I just replaced the oil pressure sending unit and the front temp sensor... I need help with... 1) The fuel pump not engaging...its a fairly new GM fuel pump..so what do I need to check on the car as a possible problem... 2) I cant seem to find where the temp sensor for the rear of the 3.1 block is...does anyone know exacly? If it helps at all the gas guage reads above a full tank... |

Re: 88 Not Starting Fuel Problem
so u dont hear the fuel pump humm when you turn the key to on? Ok if so. you either need to replace the pump relay, or it may just be a blown fuse. the temp switch should be on the back passengerside. you may need to get the car up on ramps and take a look under it.
