Re: Cold Pipe & Hot Pipe sizes...
Your hot pipe should be the same size as the compressor outlet. Any more and you are just going to create more lag. For the cold pipe, just go with what the intercooler outlet is.
IIRC the T25&28 use a 1.875" outlet on the compressor so you could go with a 2" hotpipe. One of the guys on ka-t.org made 400whp with a 2" hotpipe so restriction is not an issue. Good luck.

Re: Cold Pipe & Hot Pipe sizes...
Drifting on Hoosiers... can I have some of your money?
the throttle body on the SR is about 2.75" Im not sure about the Compressor outlet but most people use a 2.5" hotside. |

hmm...i call myself hoosierdrifter just cause im from indiana... lol
anyhoo... 2 inch just sounds too small for the hot side. both inlet and outlet on the intercooler is 2.5 inch... im thinkin 2.75 for the cold and 2.5 or 2.25 for the hot |

You think it's to small, but nissanfanatic knows it's not.

Re: Cold Pipe & Hot Pipe sizes...
If the compressor outlet is 2", then it will only flow as much as a 2" pipe will flow. Using a 2" pipe is going to maintain velocity along with the maximum flow of the compressor.

So you are going to be making under 350hp by a lot. Save yourself some money and use 2". Good luck.

Re: Cold Pipe & Hot Pipe sizes...
well...i do plan to upgrade the turbo in the near future and make near 400hp. so 2 1/4 is what i will most likely use
