Unhappy 86 Bronco II Problems

I am having problems with my Bronco II. It sputters and stalls after I sit at light or as I am going uphill. It acts just like there is water in the gas (treated it - no help). It usually happens when the outside air temp is above about 45 degrees. So far I have replaced the catty converters, plugs, plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, fuel filter, air filter, and O2 sensor. The plugs coming out of the engine showed normal wear, and no sign of burning antifreeze. I had to wire the O2 sensor directly, since the plug on the wiring harness got against the exhaust and melted, but it was doing this before that happened. Any suggestions?
