rpm meters question

do s 10's come with rpm meters??? I remember seeing one (automatic)(newer model) with out one and justa speedo if not then what would you need to do to put one on????

I have a 2001 Extreme and it has a tachometer the S-10 you seen probably was the 2.2 or was just the bottom line truck no tach, no power windows etc. right? But yes they do make them with it. Im not sure if you can put one on if it don't have one but I think my brother did maybe he just put an aftermarket tach on " 69 Chevy pickup" but I'm sure its possible.

i think you can go to a junk yard and find one for you truck and just plug it in

is it possible to install a rpm meter? i have a 93 s-10 and i think an rpm meter is necessary. would it be possible to just buy a meter and wire it up and place it on the dash or something liike that.

if you buy a tachometer aka rpm meter it will come with instrutions it is very easy
