Vortec turbo charged

ok... i was wondering...
I have a 93 4.3l vortec engine. ive searched and searched for turbo kits and have found nothing. Would i be able to put 96-up vortec heads on my 93. If so, wound this allow me to use a turbo charger that was made for a 96-up on my 93.

there is tbi vortec and cpi vortec

tbi has on old style air cleaner and the cpi has a factory cold air intake

does it say vortec on the top of the intake? if so it is cpi.

yes it says vortec...didnt you just say that not all vortecs are cpi?

yes, tbi vortec has vortec on just the valve cover. The is a diff of about 40-50 hp

going back to the origional question. I was wondering if the head change would give me the option to turbo charge without having to make custom manifolds.

where did you find the turbo for 96-up 4.3?

i dont remember but ive found them. ive also found intakes for the 96-up but not earlier. is the intake manifold different?
