Transmission question

does anybody happen to know how long the portion of the output shaft that sticks out of the transmission is on a 4L60E? the guy i talked to told me the wrong way of measuring it, now im at work and cant measure it myself again. would just like to see if i can order the part today. ofcourse now that i think about it i should prolly just wait to measure myself...
