Re: parts find difficulty

If you want a turbo then buy a turbo-don't try to recreate what the factory has already done. It will cost much more in time and money than to just buy a turbo all done. parts are easy-best place: Auto Parts Foreign Call Scott at 603-382-1643(states)

Re: parts find difficulty

I don't believe that OEM parts arailability, the ones that work the best, is, or will be, an issue for Porsche parts. Check this posting: http://www.flat-6.net/forum/showpost...9&postcount=10

Re: parts find difficulty

Just keep in mind that Porsche doesn't make every part on there cars. Like the clutches-they are made buy Sachs. You can go to the dealer and buy a clutch kit for $1500.00 or you can buy one from a independent Sachs dealer and pay $500.00. Same with relays, starters, Altinators, plugs, ect. Also the parts used on Porsches fit many other models. Your 944 engine is just a 928 engine cut in half(sort of). I wouldn;t worry about finding parts for you 944.
