3.8 ltr coil specs.

I have a '96 camaro that possibly has one of the coils going bad in it. I would like to be able to make sure before I go spend the money on a new coil. I'm trying to find out what the coils should ohm out at so I can check them? Any help is greatly appreciated! In case you are wondering, my car has an intermitant miss to it. When it does miss, the tac goes crazy. that is why I think that is the coil, also it isn't setting a code at all!
