Making a Jeep Wrangler purchase
Hey everybody, I'm thinking of purchasing a Jeep Wrangler. 1998 - 2002 . Soft top, light blue, 6 cyl., manual, with fewer than 70,000 miles on it.
Where would you recommend I go to find the best deal? What do I need to know about Jeep Wranglers? Thanks a lot! |

Re: Making a Jeep Wrangler purchase
Carmax. Ebay. Paper. Truck Trader. Best deal is relative; if you pay a little, you might be doing (repairs) a lot. As always, shop around. If you're mechanically inclined, drive it including in 4wd. If not, have a mechanic look it over.
Jeeps sometimes leak inside, so check the floorboards for any rust. On the earlier (97-98) you may have to replace the front sway bar links, it's an easy repair but lots of people have been baffled by the clunking noise when going over speed bumps.
