Removing wipers/fixing washer

I am trying to fix my windsheild washer on my 94 and I have removed the two large bolts and the smalller ones, but I want to remove the windsheild wipers to get the metal grate thing off, and also paint them, I did not see how to take them off, can anyone fill me in?

Re: Removing wipers/fixing washer

At the bottom of the arm (where the pivot point is) there is a nut that holds it on the shaft. You just lift up the plastic cover on the bottom of the wiper arm to access the nut.

i just pry up on the end with a long flat scrwedriver and a wood block for leverage.there is a locking tab on the arm to keep it on the shaft.
