How much to have Nav. system installed?

Hello all,

I'm hoping you guys can give me an idea of how much a nav. system would roughly cost to have installed. Unfortunately the Z I bought (03 Enthusiast) did not have one, and it seems like a good idea, especially since I have a horrible sense of direction.

Would you look for the Nissan model or another equivalent? Any websites?

i have a 350z touring 04 and i had my Z custom built in japan then flown in just for my nav system lol. mine was 2k but from what nissan was telling me they install an aftermarket nav system for 3k, thats pretty much all i know.

Hey all, i just got my dream-come-true 05 enthus 350z and no nav and money left. so i use my Toshiba laptop Satelite 4090XDVD (got at eBay for $295) and DeLorme GPS (@eBay $66) and DC power ($29 @ www.saveateagle.com ). Now the wife and i plan to go everywhere in US in the Z - plus the screen is much bigger than the GPS that fits into the small hole in the console. -cheap- ;-) - i put the thing on her lap , and we get to watch DVD's -(errr..she does actually)

According to infiniti dealers the G35 navigation has a completely different wiring harness along with seperate dashboard compontents. I imagine the Z is the same way. Go aftermarket. For the money it would cost, you can probably get a helluva stereo controller with a flip out screen and all the interesting do-dads you want.
