had the head gaskets replaced
the number 3 coil pack went bad,so while the dealer was changing the pack and plugs they noticed the gaskets leaking. im glad i have a warranty.

good luck on selling your lincoln. I expect the coils and gaskets will be a problem again in the future. I am sure you have read about the problem on this forum but have you visited lincolnvscadillac.com. It seems like every day there are two new cases of this issue.

i must have crossed two posts casue I do not see in the first where you said you were.
I have 107k on mine now and do not think it unreasonable to have to pay for repairs stuff happens. I have a problem when the fact that the MTBF of these commonly repaired items is so short. I cant say that I have been served well by this car but I do like it. Oh i see it is in your signature. jeez.
