fender wheel molding...

Is that plastic molding, wheel well, fender thing... or whatever u call it... necessary. I'm pretty sure it is because it keeps bad crap out, but I just wanna hear opinions...

yeah, pretty necessary. if you are havin trouble tuckin in too big-a wheels, you could take it out, this time of year (depending on where you live) that'll be a bitch to clean up after.

you could try takin them out, lining the fender wall with a plastic bag, spread some fiberglass over it (have fun with that) and then put the fiber glass cover in there, more room, crap out, even paintable! (under debris hits it) kinda like lining your trunk for stereo stuff, but different, and gravity is working against you.
