Tranny Problems
Alright...I have A AUTOMATIC TRANNY ON A 91 CIVIC DX 1.4L AND WHEN IT GOES 1ST-2ND...2ND-3RD..AND SO ON MY CAR LIKE JOLTS REALLY QUICK BACK AND FORTH..NO GRINDING SOUND OR ANYTHING..ASLO WHEN IT DOWNSHIFTS 2ND IN TO FIRST ITS KIND OF HARD..NOT ANY GRINDING SOUND BUT YOU CAN DEF. FEEL IT "KICK DOWN" BUT NO PAINFUL SOUNDS ACCOMANY IT.

hmmmm is it cold where you live. Sometimes in colder weather auto transmissions shift hard. Otherwise think its time for a rebuild if it starts to slip bad!

it doesn't sound like its slipping i would guess that the shift points need to be adjusted

When was the last time you changed/checked your auto tranny fluid?
