Can't Open door from inside

Anyone ever have to replace the linkages from the inside door handle to the latch? My driver side door has this problem, where I have to roll down the window and open from the outside.

yes i had that problem on my 92 ranger. its a pretty easy fix to replace the linkage. mine had the cable system that broke pretty easily so i got a solid arm type from an 88 ranger and it fit right in. so far its last this winter...

thanks for the reply. I'll look into the solid linkage type too. Not to crazy about the cable system, especially since both dtiver and passenger sides broke in the same location. Rolling down the window to get out is getting really old!!! Lol. thanks again for your help
