apexi good or bad
hey guys im looking at buying an apexi n1 universal muffler and getting custom 2.4" straight piping from the cat back. will that be loud? what about performance? is apexi a good choice? thanks for the help

Apex'i N1 turbo is probably my favorite muffler out of the box. See about getting a pre-made catback system.. it'll save you trouble and probably some money/time... you can bolt it up yourself.

i dont have a turbo. will that matter. will change the sound or performance.

it doesn't matter... it's just an apex'i system with slightly less backpressure, which makes it optimal for turbo cars. It works fine on non-turbo's, though. My friend Rebecca has one on her sol and it sounds good, especially considering that she's got a non VTEC 1.5 block. Doesn't sound like a rattlecan or anything. Nice deep tone.

what will happen if i take out my resonators and up the piping. i was also going to have it stick out at an angle. will that do anything

bigger piping = less torgue= bad idea. generally taking out resonators just makes it louder, unlesss you have no cat, and then you can get some buzz...
