i like it, my gf has a 95' eclipse rs and its a nice blue color, good stuff but anyways.. just like 2 hours ago i installed an intake.. she is gonna sell it in a few months, so i wanted to buy a cheap intake off ebay just for the sound. so it came in and i think the pipe diameter is like 3 inchs which is way to big for that engine and its made out of aluminum so after takin it for a little 5 mins ride i open the hood and felt it and the bitch was so fuckin hot, i mean i knew it was gonna be hot but damn... do u think that car will lose power bc the intake is too big and too hot.i think maybe she might get a lil top end power but thats it. and it sounds ok. not much difference.doesnt even make that pssh sound when u turn it off.

Re: Finally some pics of the car

Yeah, the rims are temporary, they came with the car.

If your wife's car is shooting hot air into the engine, then that defeats the whole purpose of having a intake. I'm not too sure about ebay intakes either.

I like it. Well, the color isn't my style, but overall it's nice. Good pics. Late...

Re: Finally some pics of the car

Needs to be lowered. Most cars i like stock or near stock stance but the eclipses look short and fat when they arent lowered at least 2". i dunno i htink Mitsu should have made the wheelbasea little longer. And the Gray around the bottom, Blah. Other than that looks nice. Still egeraly awaiting the end of soccer season so i can purchase a vehicle of my own. then i will be eagrely awaiting the end of school so i can start working full time making the big bucks (chukles).

Yeah, I don't care much for the 3rd gen wheels. Other than that the car looks great.

Re: Finally some pics of the car

Nice car. Looks pretty good, but your right. 2in would be to low, a buck five would be just right for that car, and some different wheels.

Re: Finally some pics of the car

qr25sentra, please don't hijack threads. The intake your gf has is fine, all intakes are practically the same. It gets hot because it is aluminum and your engine produces heat...aluminum heats and cools quickly (same reason beer cans get colder faster than bottles). If you want to continue asking about the intake, then start a new thread in the appropriate place.
