Re: compression

all the good engines i have run a compression test on have 160-170 psi when engine is warm. 130 sounds fairly low, are you using any oil?

factory is 185psi. You're runnin at 70% . Sounds like your engine is on it's way out. Either you need a valve job, or your compression rings are shot.

as we speak my cylinder head is getting redone. my cylinders had 180, 120, and 125 from #1 through #3, and valves were sticking. ABSOLUTE minimum is 160 allowed, so you should get head off and that will tell you what is wrong. also try and squirt a bit of oil and redo the test. if idle is rough and all cylinders are low, maybe you camshaft is worn.
