Re: Carbon YZR Project

Gonna be cool! Neat idea!

I totally agree on these little kits. They are really quite nice. I've got two of them, and I'm in process of building one now. I've never seen one finished, but I think they've got the makings to be a pretty nice kit when done. I think they're great!

Re: Carbon YZR Project

Great work so far! These decal jobs you guys are showing is sick ;-)
I did start a 1/12 kit in CF once, Abe YZR testversion from 2002. Worst thing I've ever gotten in to. Perhaps I have picked up a tip or two from you guys along the way to try it again some time.
Good luck and keep progress pics coming.
best regards
/Joel

Re: Carbon YZR Project

Nice work so far. Carbon patern is bit too big, but beside that it's well made.

Vric You Noticed, Yes It's A Little Big. It's From A Sheet Of 1/12 Scale
I Picked Up The 1/12 In A Stack Of 1/24 I Bought At The LHS
Don't Tell Anybody But If This Works Out The Next Bike Will Be A
Tamiya FZR750(OWO1) 1/12 Scale,My First Try Outside Of 1/24 Scale
I've Been Lugging It Around For Years And I Think I Need To Build It!(LOL)
So If I Can Do It In 1/24 I Can Do It Better In 1/12(I Hope!)
Now I See Why Some Of You Build Big Scale!
