4 x4 service light on no lights on 4 button

Okay. more problems with my 4 x 4 .. 1999 blazer, with 4 button on dash.. I just put in a encoder motor in last week, and my 4 x 4 work for a week yep eh! going to the post office today, my 4 x 4 service light came on, and lost the lights on the buttons.. no blinking.. Occasionaly I will get 4 lights for 1/10 second when switching key on and off. I have notice that I get no clicking noise from the tccm. Disconected battery for 5 minutes, reset computer, check inside fuse, and it is okay..

here I go again, any information will be helpful

I have the same problem. I also have a 99 w/ 4 buttons, I havent replaced anything yet. On cold days it works fine, after its been running for a while or the next time I start it for the day, it stops working,(No lights on buttons) It seems to work only when its cold.

Re: 4 x4 service light on no lights on 4 button

Okay this is strange, I go back out an hour later, and now it is working fine, 4 x4 service light is out, and 4 buttons working correct.. any clues. I am wondering, is the code stored, or is it gone after the light is out..
