My lugnut requires more torque than your LS1 makes.

no, it's not. it is based on the 5.4L V12 from the 750i. it is turned into a 6.1L V12 producing 480 hp @ 5400 RPM and 457 lb-ft of torque @ 4300 RPM. 0-60 mph is in 4.2 seconds and top speed in 193 mph.

if you want more, let me know

By all means, continue! I'm mostly into Porsches, but I love Bimmers and Audis, even some VWs. I'm an all around german car nut, and the only Hamanns I'm familiar with are the V8 3 series.

I saw a company do a very clean turbocharging job on an E46. It was scary, 0-60 in 3.4, 0-100 in 9.8, 1/4 in 11. They didn't check the top speed, but you get the point.

Don't remember if it was turbo/or SC but in Roundel about two months ago there was a guy with a Blown 328ic (E46) from a company in Sweden I believe.

I saw a article in a magazine about a turbo M3. The company actually used to make supercharger kits for 3 series, but when they tried a turbo kit, the power band was so much better than the supercharged ones.

I saw a article about a mean turbo from AA http://www.activeautowerke.com/ but I don't think they ever made superchargers and they don't have a blower setup for a E46. I wish I could get their turbo on my car but alas I do not have the extra $13,000 they quoted me to do it.

Oh god! No, I still remain faithful to the Porsche flame, but those are Hamanns are just about enough to change that. No reason I can't have both though!

Except for a lack of hundreds of thousands.. but hey, no plan is perfect, right?
