1st Generation Integra Rear Suspension
I was wondering what everyone thought about the semi-independent rear suspension in this model and how much it affects handling at the limits. How does it compare to full independent rear suspension cars? Can you upgrade springs/shocks/roll bars to be able to perform with the independent suspensions? Any info would be great, especially if its from a personal experience with these cars. thx.

Re: 1st Generation Integra Rear Suspension
Check out First Integration:
http://www.g1teg.org/ I know that other than the length of the front torsion bars, the suspension on a 1G Integra and 1G CRX ('84-'87) are nearly identical. Check out www.opmautosports.com for suspension upgrades. They're pricey, but it will give you an idea of what's available. Most of these parts can be found on Ebay. |
