'89 Suburban door panel
Driver's electric window hanging up. Need to remove door panel to inspect/repair as necessary. Any comments on how to remove panel/repair window greatly appreciated.

i got an 89 gmc suburban and let me tell you it couldnt be easyer to take the panel off.
if your have electric windows its a snap just remove the handle/armrest with i believe it is 2 phillips scres and there are some easily accesable screws all around the panel. once your sure you have all the screws out pull gently from the bottom and lift directly up, then pop! the panel is off and you can pull the switches out and set it aside. as for your window you may need to clean the motor and/or gears. if all else fails take out the motor and take it to a local GM dealer and say what is wrong here. |
