2000 GMC Jimmy-A/C, Heat and Defrost don't work!!!

I have a 2000 Jimmy and out of the blue the entire panel that holds my A/C, heat, defrost and temp gages don't work! What's weird is everything else in the car works (except the gas gage but that's happened in 3 out of four of the Jimmy's that my family owned). My radio above the panel works, and I tried the cigarette lighter under the panel and that works too. HELP! Service shops want to charge me $100 to look at it.

I've also tried all the fuses and all are in working order. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it could be? I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars just for a diagnosis! If anyone else has had this problem, please let me know! Thank you!

Do you have any air flow from any of the normal aresa i.e. defrost, floor, vents? If you do, it sounds like a vacume problem. Vacume from the engine controls the selector on what and where the air flow is directed. Hope this helps. Check the vacume lines under the hood.

look into the main fuse box under the hood check the heater relay may be blown
