1995 Explorer A/C problem

My 95 Explorer Sport only blows air to the defrost position (front windshield). Blower and temp are fine just can't get air to blow from other vents. Can anyone help? Is this a blend door problem?

Re: 1995 Explorer A/C problem

I had simular problem and found that vaccum was to low. added a one way value from parts store to help when I was pulling trailer and so when I let up on gas vacuum would increase, but not get lost when I started up hill.

Also found a leak in system near passner side next to were dealer worked on alignment of front end.

Both reduced engine vacum and damaged hose down low were parts of the problem.

Now next problem is climit control unit does not drive the air conditioner electric clutch.
